Depending on what we see on the day, we will focus on winter waders, ducks, or gulls and get up close with the habitats they rely on to thrive. Get ready for a relaxed seaside walk sprinkled with bird facts and practical nature skills! Spey Bay is a beautiful Scottish Wildlife Trust coastal reserve with the largest shingle beach in Scotland. Constant changes caused by the river create a succession of habitats, from bare shingle to coastal grasslands, brackish saltmarsh and wet woodland.
