I take care of most things at Wild Alba Tours. I believe in our mission so I adore my work. When I’m not with you on a tour, I also work behind the scenes answering your emails, processing booking enquiries and generally goofing around in the office. A country girl through and through, I had my head in wildlife field guides from a young age and my feet in wellie boots from the get-go. I’m already excited to meet you – let’s go on a wild walk together!
Jackie Taylor, Tour Guide
Jackie is an all-round naturalist, with an infectious enthusiasm for Scottish wildlife. She has spent over a decade working as an ecologist surveying plants, mammals and birds in some of the most beautiful and remote parts of Scotland.
She is rarely found without her walking boots, waders or wellies and will most likely be up a hill, in a river or enjoying a walk in the woods.
Laura Duggan, Tour Guide
Laura has always loved wildlife and being outdoors, as her parents realised when, at an early age she was found with a bag of sugar in the garden, feeding the ants. For five years Laura worked offshore surveying marine mammals, sharks and turtles. She now spends most of her time carrying out bird surveys in remote and wild parts of Scotland.
In her free time, she can be found “munro-bagging” her way around Scotland, hiking long-distance British trails, disappearing into woods to follow badger paths, or scrambling down river banks to look for otter prints.
